About the Lake Orion Soccer Club

The Lake Orion Soccer Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization incorporated in the State of Michigan. Its purpose is to establish, administer, and promote a competitive community-based soccer program for the development of area youth by providing the highest quality coaching available and fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, work ethic and training at the highest level.

LOSC offers three main types of soccer programs for children of all abilities:
Travel Teams participate in competitive soccer in the Southeast Michigan region.  Our travel soccer program is a community-based program with a mission to place a highly competitive and skilled soccer team on the field every day.

The Youth Academy is designed to provide access to quality training for the starting or young soccer players of all abilities.  It will serve as both a local soccer program for Lake Orion children to enjoy and also as a development program into our travel teams for those who might be interested.
LOSC offers a variety of other soccer programs to meet the needs in our soccer community.  Whether you want to first see if your child will enjoy the game of soccer or if you simply just want to continue improving your soccer skills, then our clinics and camps are for you.  Activities are designed to provide players of all abilities with an opportunity to not only improve their individual skills, but also to enjoy the game of soccer itself.

LOSC Coaching Philosophy

The Lake Orion Soccer Club Coaching Staff believes that individual skill development should be the focus at the early stages of the soccer player development.  At the LOSC, our progressive and skill-level specific curriculum has been designed with that in mind allowing players of all abilities the opportunity to grow and enjoy the game of soccer.

Players: The focus of our club: skill development and enjoyment of the game
Coaches: The backbone of our club:  high quality coaching and care for the children
Parents: An integral part of the club:  Be proud & help create a friendly & fun environment
Volunteers: Core component of our club: operations assistance, parental involvement
Referees: A key supporting role:  help teach laws of the game and respect for the game
Sponsors: An essential partner is developing the best program we can offer

The Lake Orion Soccer Club is affiliated soccer club with US Club Soccer, MYSL, MSYSA, USYSA, USSF, and FIFA
